A pick-up and delivery service for your pet: comfortable and friendly door-to-door transport. Safe and comfortable transports of animals, which is achieved by keeping the animal as calm as possible, requires a high degree of experience, technical knowledge, and professional equipment.
Your pet’s travel comfort is our first priority, and our modern fleet of well-equipped vehicles reflects this primary aim.
We use non-promotional Mercedes-Benz special-purpose vehicles which, for example, feature custom air-cushioned suspension. This extra stability enables us to safely pick up larger animals from the zoo, or from a private home. To ensure the well-being of animals during transport, a constant optimum temperature inside the vehicle is essential. Our custom vehicles maintain the ideal temperature for each animal we transport, even when the engine is switched off and during any rest periods. This is the only way to make vehicle transport – which is always an unusual experience for any animal – as stress-free as possible.
AIR TRANSPORT
Most of our pets fly on commercial airlines downstairs in the part of the cargo hold we like to call the “Pet Cabin”. Pets journeys are remarkably similar to our own. They head to check-in, go through paperwork and security then are normally the last “passengers” on board. On arrival they are whisked off the plane and head through more security and document checking before being released to one of our friendly drivers for a very happy reunion at your new home.
CUSTOM CRATES AND KENNELS
No one likes uncomfortable travel, including your pets. Because your pets don’t have the luxury to wander while being transported, it’s important that their crate is designed with their comfort in mind.
Made to fit your pet perfectly, Animals Away offers custom designed crates for pet transportation, ensuring not only comfort but safety, no matter where you need your pet to go. Crates are built to the International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines.
